| About Evans Team Wear |
| EVANS TEAMWEAR was founded in 1953 as Evans Sporting Goods. EVANS provided sporting equipment and uniforms as an independent dealer and team outfitter in Orange County, California. Due to declining product quality and service from its suppliers, Evans Sporting Goods found it increasingly more difficult to provide its customers with the quality, variety of products, and service they were expecting. In 1984 Evans Sporting Goods decided that the only way to assure its customers received the quality products and excellent service they wanted was to make there own products. And so Evans Sporting Goods transitioned from a sporting goods store to a manufacture of custom athletic uniforms. To assure customer satisfaction it sold its products directly to the end users thereby eliminating the cost of middlemen. Now known as EVANS TEAMWEAR to better reflect its productline, EVANS TEAMWEAR has brought its experience and knowledge of the past 50 plus years to provide custom athletic teamnwear at factory direct prices to schools, youth leagues, clubs, travel teams, and municipal parks and recreation departments. |
